Ghana International Airlines is the new intended (within 2005) national flag carrier of Ghana, replacing the defunct Ghana Airways that ceased operations in 2004.

It might begin operations in October 29, 2005 by having flights between Accra and London, expanding to Düsseldorf during the wintertime.

History

A airline was install within 2004 as a partnership between the food and drug administration of Ghana and a class action of personal international investors. An experient exile management team led by CEO Ralph Atkin, founder of SkyWest in the United States was also installed.
